[atrb=width,240] Carmen was sitting on the couch in her and Eleazar's room she was trying to read but just couldn't get into she was worrying over Edward being gone she was pretty close to him and didn't like the fact that he was gone and upset worried her she knew it was all about some human he met at school. Alice had seen it in a vision the day he left. Sighing she closed her book and stood walking over to her closet and making a small bag of cloths as she was going to go to Edward knowing he was move then likely at her old house in Alaska. Walking down the stairs she told Eleazar she was leaving and where she was going. She then walked outside to her car and drove to the airport she wanted to get to Alaska as fast as she could. Getting to the airport she went through all the necessary things before boarding her plan. Getting on and closing her eyes her mind drifted to Edward she didn't know how just some human could upset him so much he had to leave. Getting to Alaska she got off the plan and headed straight for her old home getting to the door she turned the handle seeing it was unlocked she knew he was there. as she walked through the door she called out to him knowing he would hear her. Edward sat bitterly in one of the couches at the old Denali home, he had arrived shortly after his Biology class was over, three days before. He couldn't believe what had happened, in a moment his 87 years of vampire experience had gone down the toilet at the scent of that new girl, Bella's scent. The smell had been the most alluring thing he had ever known, it was a wonder that he had been able to resist the urge to just drain her dry on the spot. So there he was, all alone and brooding as usual, the only difference was that he wasn't at home at the moment, but he guessed it was better to be away from his family, he was just an outcast after all, forever doomed to be without a significant other.

His melancholic thoughts were interrupted by the presence of some rather mind nearby, he knew she would come, Carmen had always been there for him when he had needed help and this was no exception. The older vampire was certainly a loving woman, kind of like Esme, but older. He didn't need to get up and unlock the door as it was open, just turning the knob would suffice. He heard her call out for him when she arrived, prompting him to respond. "I'm in the living room."

[atrb=width,240] Hearing Edward call out saying he was in the living room she set down her pruse and bag on the entry table and walked down the hall to see him smiling at the art work and pictures on the wall she missed this house but wouldn't give up living in Forks for anything. Getting to the room she saw him on the couch and sighed walking over to him and sitting down pulling her legs to the side under her. "Since when is running away an okay way to solve a problem Eddie" She knew he hated that name but she wanted to lighten the mood a little if possible. She didn't need to get the story from him she got a lot of it from Alice but she did want to hear what was going through his head and how he felt. She always tried to take care of her "cousins" and same with her sisters thats just how she was very motherly much like Esme. But with Esme being around she kind of took on the big sister role since mother was covered. Edward kept his gaze fixed on the blazing fire inside the chimney as he felt Carmen walk closer, faintly smiling as her memories streamed through her mind, granting him a clear image of the good times the family had in that living room. The Cullens had similar memories, well, the couples at least did, he was just the odd one out, always sticking out like a sore thumb in their little family. He finally turned his head to the side when she sat down next to him. He knew she was trying to lighten up the mood by calling him Eddie even though he hated the nickname but he didn't feel like laughing.

"Would you rather want me to drain an innocent girl dry and then kill every single witness present in the room?" He asked her, crossing his arms over his chest before speaking again. "I don't even know why, everything was just fine until she stepped in front of that fan. The moment her scent reached me, it was as if I was a newborn yet again, it is the most alluring thing I've ever smelled, I was lucky to maintain control for that long." He explained the situation to Carmen. He knew that if there was somebody who could understand him were either Carlisle, Esme or Carmen. "I don't know how to deal with this..." He sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose in frustration.
