Alec had a reprieve from passing judgement on peasants and obeying Master Aro. He was told that he could spend some time out in the city because of a wonderful job he had been doing on several occasions where Alec's expertise had been needed. So he walked out of the castle and through the gates . He looked around and he began to think"I am all alone so what kind of trouble should i be avoiding"He turned to the left and saw a couple speaking italian to each other.Alec could tell it was something mushy because they were hanging all over the other one. Alec despised the essence of love and could not see how people could actually like it. He began to think"That reminds me too much of my parents and how they said they loved us but did nothing to save us"
Alec came to a little bistro that as he looked through the window he could tell it was almost full. He shook his head and figured that since he could not eat regularly why even bother going in. He came to the park and he sat down. Everytime a bird came towards him he would shoo it off as he spoke in italian fluently.He saw many people with their kids pass by him and the kids would comment on how he looked. If he did not care about doing something tragic that would stir up trouble for him he would have done something back.He then felt a presence that only came when another vampire was around" It is not nice to try and sneak up on people"

Volterra. It'd been hell convincing Jasper to let her go on her own. He'd had a fit and tried to talk her out of it be there was no backing out now. Her last encounter with the Volturi had been when her families existence had been put on the line. The superior coven had wanted to exterminate the Cullen family but thanks to her and a few other vampires it was avoided.
But now as she exited the store with bags in tow, she felt the need to look over her shoulder. "Its fine Ally." she said soothing herself and putting her bags into the trunk of the armored Fiat. Jasper had convinced Edward to send the thing long with her even though she didn't need the protection.
Adjusting her thick sunglasses Alice looked up at the now dark sky and debated whether to take them off or keep the on. Slipping into the car she settled for the latter and stowed the glasses in the glove department. Soon she found herself a bit bored and humans lurking around in the night didn't pose a threat but she couldn't shake being so restless.
She parked the car next to a park and stepped out, stowing her keys in her back pocket. Around her people looked up from what they were doing but when they realized she was no one important that went back to their musings. Alice found herself walking through the park and admiring the scents of the flowers and plants when a distinct scent took her by surprise. It couldn't be. What was he doing here. Alice debated whether she should follow it or walk away but the nagging feeling made her follow his scent. Why hadn't she seen this?
Alice took her approach from behind and made herself seem normal. As if she wasn't stalking a member of one of the most dangerous covens in the world. " It is not nice to try and sneak up on people" Alec's voice surprised her and she cursed for not being more discreet. Flitting to his side on the bench she kept her eyes forward.
"I was so not sneaking." Alice smirked to herself.

As he spoke to the intruding vampire he looked at her and it was a Cullen. What were they doing here of all places. The last time they were in Italy was when Alice and bella prevented Edward from making a fool of himself over something silly called love. Alec knew that Alice was the one that loved to shop most of all. Alec said" I bet the shops we have here is what drew you here. I can not think of anything else that would have done it. I can not believe your little puppydog Jasper is not here protecting you. He actually let you come alone after everything that has gone on between our two covens." He shook his head on dosbelief and looked around just incase his feelings was right.
Alec said" Well it is night time and that would mean you have no worry about hiding from the sunlight . Unless you are doing it to hide your eyes from everyone and that would be understandable. So I am curious what brought you to your enemy's terroitory?" Alec adjusted his dark cloak and lowered his hood to reveal his head and face.He lowered his head and spoke in a slow and drawn out voice" I do find it amusing to hear the commotion from people around me when i do not look them in the eye though. It is quite amusing and fun and it is not always fun to behaving one's self. Every now and then you got to let yourself go and have some fun at people's expense."

He actually let you come alone after everything that has gone on between our two covens." Alice gasped, the statement was insulting and she hadn't liked it. A new found rage swept through her and she did all she could not to strike him. Doing that would cause more turmoil and a scene she did not want in front of humans.
"You should watch your tongue boy." she warned before thinking of her mate. Jasper was sweet and kind but she didn't own him he had a mind of his own and certainly wasn't her puppydog.
"I may be nice but i don't tolerate anyone talking about Jasper. Got it? she asked looking around at the humans that seemed to amuse the monster beside her. Alice didn't see the Volturi as just a powerful coven but as a disease that seemed to feed off the pain of others. Suddenly her body stilled as a vision dawned upon her, in the background Alec kept speaking but she ignored him. The scene in her head was more important.
Alec stood across from Alice and her mate was crouched on the floor in front of her teeth clinching in pain. Jane stood behind her brother and she smiled as Alice leaned over Jasper and kissed his cheek hoping to soothe the pain. She cried out for them to stop but Jane didn't listen. Then the image was gone, Alice cringed away from the red eyed vampire that sat next to her.

Alec finished his ranting and Alice pushed the fear and anger back knowing that if she stirred up a fight with him it would cost her life. Not her actual life but Jasper's the one she love.
"Why are you here alone?" she quizzed wondering where his sister was. She crossed her legs at the ankle letting the weight of her left to fall on the heel of her shoe. The dress she wore had come up so she readjusted it to her liking and looked back to the vamp that was almost the same height as her. [/style] |

After make the insulting question towards Alice about her mate Alec listened as the little pixie let him know how mad she was by her answer.Alec said" Ooh i see i touched a nerve there and the usual calm and collected pixie built up a backbone and lashed out at me.Do you think that is a wise move to make seeing as you are all alone." He pulled at his tongue and watched it as it went back in his mouth.Alec said" Now that was a silly thing to say and did not make a bit of sense.What is stopping me from right now taking your senses temporaily and making you number than you already are?I guess the comment about not wanting anyone talking about your human blood sucker turned veggie mate is reasonable . I guess i would not like it if someone talked ill of my sister either."
He then saw her body grow stiff and he knew something was happening and he figured it was her gift showing her the future. Alec said" Are you seeing how I am paralyzing your senses and threatening to never give them back?Or how I would attack your coven just for the hell of it"Alec listened to alice and then said" Even us vampires deserve atime away from everything and everybody. This is my timw alone and i was enjoying it till you came along and ruined it. Why don't you just take your little pixie self and go back to your rainy every day state that you love so much. I just need some time alone because it is not like i have anyone to be around anyway."
